Chehni Kothi - Handcrafted Himachali Wooden Model

A miniature of Chehni Kothi, the historic tower of Himachal Pradesh, carved and assembled by hand from seasoned natural wood. It follows the Kath-Kuni style the tower is built in: layered wooden beams with stone-inspired detailing between them, and a multi-tier sloped roof finished in charcoal black to suggest slate. The textures and finer details are applied by hand, so no two models are exactly alike.

It stands roughly 30 to 35 cm high on a base about 10 to 12 cm square, balanced well enough for a tabletop or shelf. Kath-Kuni construction was developed to withstand the mountain climate and earthquakes, and the model keeps those proportions in small form. Made by Himachali artisans, it suits a home, an office or a heritage display.
