Maroon Convertible Leather Bag

A leather bag in mehroon that works two ways: carry it on the shoulder or convert it into a backpack using the adjustable leather zip-handle system. Steel handles with leather grips sit at the top, and a detachable long sling strap lets it be worn as a sling as well. The panels carry a soft velvet finish, embroidered by hand in vibrant colours.

The thread work is Kashmiri hand embroidery from Jammu & Kashmir, worked in the traditional Chinar leaf motif. Inside there is one spacious main compartment, with an outer flap pocket for things you reach for often. It measures roughly 11 inches long, 8 inches high and 4 inches wide — a size suited to everyday use, college, travel, festive occasions and family gatherings, and one that works as a gift for women.
