MP Handpainted Gond Art Fish Wall Painting – Traditional Tribal Acrylic Canvas Art (50 × 36 Inches)

Two fish fill this large landscape canvas, drawn in the patterned, story-carrying manner of Gond painting. In this tradition the fish stand for prosperity, abundance, harmony and good fortune, and for the link between nature and life. The patterns that surround them draw on nature and folklore, built up line by line in acrylic colour.

The work is painted entirely by hand by tribal artisans working in the Gond style of Madhya Pradesh, so no two canvases repeat each other exactly. At 50 × 36 inches it suits a feature wall or a room with space to step back from it, whether at home, in an office, a café or a hotel.

One painting is supplied. Keep it indoors, away from water and damp, dust it with a soft dry cloth, and keep harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners away from the surface.
