Laser-cut perforations run across the tan brown upper, with a line of decorative stitching at the front and the pointed toe that marks the Mojari or jutti tradition of Rajasthan. The upper is leather or leather-finish, and the shoe slips on without fastenings.
Inside there is a soft cushioned lining; underneath, a flat outer sole with a heel of roughly half an inch. A pair weighs about 300 grams. Sizes run from UK 6 to UK 11, covering foot lengths of 24.5 cm to 29.5 cm, in a regular slip-on fit.
It suits festive and semi-formal ethnic dressing — weddings, haldi and mehndi functions, pooja ceremonies and family gatherings — and works with a kurta-pajama, a Nehru jacket set, or denim for an Indo-western look.
