Sold as the Navy Blue Ajrakh saree, this is a hand block printed mulmul cotton saree from Bagru in Rajasthan, where artisan families have printed with wooden blocks for generations. The cotton is a 92×80 count mulmul — very light, breathable and soft to the hand — with floral motifs and a border in the traditional Bagru manner.
The saree runs 5.5 metres, with a matching running blouse piece of 1 metre attached. It drapes smoothly, wears comfortably through a full day in Indian weather, and moves easily between occasions. The same saree is printed in Blue Orange Half Block, Green Purple Bandhani, Indigo Blue, Mustard Yellow, Olive Green, Red White and Teal White Leaf.
