Handblock Ajrakh Print Kantha Work Bedspread – 90 x 108 Inch

A large cotton bedspread measuring 90 x 108 inches, wide enough for double, queen and king beds. The cloth carries handblock Ajrakh printing, the resist block craft practised by artisans in Rajasthan, and is finished with rows of hand-stitched Kantha work across the surface.

It is made from 100% cotton, light enough to use through the year, so it works as a bedspread in warmer months and a layer or throw when the nights cool. The same piece can go over a sofa or serve as a decorative blanket. Four colourways are offered: beige brown, blue, brown and red, and since each one is stitched and printed by hand, no two are identical.

Wash gently by machine or by hand in cold water, keep dark colours separate, and dry in the shade so the print holds.
