An ash-grey body carries a double border in traditional red and black, worked on wooden looms by Himachali artisans. The wool is 100% pure sheep wool sourced from the Himalayan region, medium-weight and breathable, with a soft texture that drapes easily over ethnic or contemporary clothes.
The double border asks for extra precision and weaving time, and each shawl takes roughly four to five days to finish. The borders follow old Himachali motifs that stand for warmth, protection and cultural identity. Colours are set using time-tested dyeing methods.
This is Himachali handloom weaving from Himachal Pradesh, made in a free size that suits both men and women. It measures about 200 to 210 cm long and 95 to 100 cm wide, and is commonly worn through winter, at festivals and at cultural gatherings.
