These pullas, also known as juttis, pair a handwoven woollen upper with a sole of natural hemp grass. The upper carries multicolour geometric motifs, and the edges are hand-stitched. Both the weaving and the stitching are done by hand, without industrial processes, in the Himachali handloom tradition of Himachal Pradesh.

Footwear of this kind has long been worn in the hill regions for warmth and comfort. The wool is soft and breathable, the sole sturdy underfoot, and the whole build stays light and flexible. Foot length runs roughly 24 to 26 cm depending on size, width about 8.5 to 9.5 cm, with a sole 1 to 1.5 cm thick. The fit is regular and multiple sizes are available; small variations between pairs are part of handmade work.

Suited to casual and indoor wear, travel, and ethnic styling with traditional or contemporary outfits.
