Knitted by hand from natural sheep wool, these socks carry the geometric patterns of Himachali folk art over a natural cream base, in black, white, red, maroon, orange, green and yellow. The wool is minimally processed, which keeps its warmth and lets the fabric breathe, and the inner texture is gentle enough for all-day wear.
They are unisex and free size, stretching to fit most adults: roughly 22 to 25 cm from heel to toe and 25 to 30 cm from ankle to calf. Knitted in Himachal Pradesh using long-standing Himalayan techniques, each pair differs a little from the next.
Wash them by hand in cold water with a mild detergent, never in a machine, and do not wring them out; lay them flat in the shade to dry.
