The Pahadi cap is worn across Himachal Pradesh as a marker of pride and identity, and this one follows the familiar colour scheme: a deep maroon body, a soft cream crown and an orange border. It is woven by hand from wool, a Himachali handloom practice carried forward by local artisans.
The cap measures roughly 19 to 20 cm across and 8 to 9 cm high, with a circumference of about 56 to 58 cm, a standard adult size. Slight variations come with the handmade process. It is worn at festivals, weddings and ceremonies, for folk performances, and with ethnic or heritage-inspired outfits.
